BCC Awarded OVAG funding for 2010-2011
We have been awarded federal funding for the purchase of mobile video
interviewing equipment which will allow our Forensic Interviewer to travel
to locations in the most rural of our service areas and conduct interviews
with victims of abuse and neglect. We also received funding for a Victim
Advocate position. The Victim Advocate will work with the victim and the
non-offending family members to provide services to include therapeutic
services coordination, criminal court accompaniment and case
management services.
